920AI
A casual, free, all-levels AI round-table for folks across the Fox Valley: Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay, and everywhere in between. No speakers, no agenda. Just the right people comparing notes on AI, month to month.
Why this exists
There's plenty happening around AI in the Valley, but nothing casual, free, and ongoing where people just compare notes. 920AI fills that gap: the easy happy-hour vibe of the local security meetup, plus a light "go around and share" so everyone gets a turn. Where you're at, where your company's at, what you're trying, what you're reading or listening to.
Whether you're orchestrating ten agents or just using AI to plan dinner, you belong. Things are moving fast enough that none of us has it figured out, and almost nothing any of us is doing is secret sauce anyway.
How it's made: an idea to launch in an afternoon
I'm building the group the same way I build everything else, by actually using the tools instead of just talking about them. The site's "How it's built" page is a dramatized walkthrough (fictionalized names and infrastructure details, real conversation) of taking 920AI from an idea to a live, deployed sign-up site in about two hours, using a small team of AI agents: a strategist, an operator, and a local knowledge engine, working alongside one human making the calls.
It's the same agent federation described on The Lab page here, turned toward a real, shippable thing instead of homelab infrastructure. Buy the commodity (sign-ups, reminders, calendar invites are solved problems), build the differentiator (a news digest and a breakout-group sorter, the parts actually worth owning).
Why show you this? Because this is what AI-augmented building actually looks like now, and it's exactly the kind of thing 920AI exists to explore together. Come see how it's done, and show us what you're building.
